Landscape Design and Application

The interior seating, planter, and planting design and implementation for the Louis Vuitton store located within Emaar Square Mall was realized by Betula Landscape Architecture.

The interior design concept aimed to approach planting elements and planters not merely as decorative features, but as complementary architectural components that define the atmosphere of the space and enrich the user experience. In line with this approach, planters with varying forms, scales, textures, and geometric characteristics were designed and positioned to establish a cohesive composition together with the seating areas and planting arrangements throughout the interior.

The planter design draws inspiration from the distinctive architectural character, traditional craftsmanship, earthy tones, and characteristic surfaces of Marrakech, Morocco. These references were reinterpreted through a contemporary and refined interior language, establishing a balanced relationship with the existing Louis Vuitton identity.

Custom-designed planters were finished with Flexstone, a surface material selected to bring the character and textural richness of natural stone into the interior. The material’s organic, layered surface effect was considered in conjunction with the planters’ diverse geometries, contributing to a warm, sophisticated, and timeless spatial atmosphere.

For the interior seating elements, furniture selected from the collections of Italian design brand Paola Lenti was incorporated. The integrated composition of furniture, planters, and planting elements supports the store’s luxurious and contemporary character while providing visitors with a comfortable and elevated spatial experience.
