Landscape Design and Application

The brand opened its first store in Istanbul in 2007 and began collaborating with Betula Landscape Architecture in 2009. As part of this collaboration, landscape design and implementation processes were carried out across 8–9 different stores. Each location was evaluated according to its existing physical conditions, while a consistent landscape language was developed to reinforce and complement the brand’s corporate identity.

The scope of implementation included timber decking, tensile membrane structures, ornamental pools incorporating stainless steel detailing, and modular imported planter systems. These interventions, implemented across the stores’ outdoor and semi-outdoor spaces, established an integrated design approach in which architecture and landscape were considered as a cohesive whole.

To maintain brand consistency and spatial identity, the same planter typologies, plant species, and colour palettes were consistently applied across different stores, creating a unified visual and design language. This approach allowed each store to respond to its specific physical context while maintaining a shared landscape character associated with the brand.

Following the completion of the landscape implementations, periodic landscape maintenance services were also provided by the experienced team at Betula Landscape Architecture for many years. The integrated approach to design, implementation, and maintenance contributed to preserving the established landscape character over time and ensuring its continuity in harmony with the brand’s identity.
