Landscape Project

The landscape design project carried out at Beykoz Konakları was developed with the aim of extending the contemporary character of the existing residential architecture into the outdoor environment, creating a functional and aesthetically refined living space in response to user needs. The landscape architectural design was prepared by our team, while the implementation process was carried out by a separate contracting company.

The primary design approach focused on maintaining the modern architectural language of the interior spaces throughout the landscape areas. The design vocabulary, composed of simple, strong, and timeless geometries, was reinterpreted to establish a balanced relationship with the residence’s romantic architectural silhouette. Through the careful selection of materials, structural landscape elements, and spatial organization, the project aimed to create a seamless integration between the architecture and the garden.

Considering the daily lifestyle patterns and social requirements of a family with children, the landscape concept was developed to support outdoor living, accommodate different age groups, and provide functional spaces that can be experienced throughout all seasons.

As one of the key focal points of the design, a low-level seating area with a firepit was created to emphasize the strong character of exposed concrete. Designed as a warm and inviting outdoor living space, this area encourages social interaction and offers a versatile setting that can be enjoyed at different times of the day.

Continuing the same material language, a fixed dining area and outdoor kitchen unit were designed as integral components of the landscape. In order to balance the strong and industrial expression of exposed concrete, iroko wood panel details were proposed for the kitchen cabinetry, introducing a natural texture and creating a warmer, more balanced atmosphere.

The outdoor kitchen was equipped with functional elements such as a pizza oven, barbecue, and sink to enhance user comfort and enrich the outdoor culinary experience. All structural landscape elements were carefully detailed to establish a simple yet distinctive outdoor design language that remains in harmony with the architectural identity of the residence.

Throughout the project, the contemporary architectural approach was balanced with concrete, wood, and natural textures, resulting in a cohesive landscape design concept that supports family-oriented social living while achieving both aesthetic refinement and functional performance.
