Landscape Design

Located in Acarkent, this villa project includes the concept design, landscape implementation drawings, and technical documentation prepared by our firm. The on-site construction process was carried out by a separate contractor.

The design approach focuses on simple, precise, and strong geometric forms that enhance the contemporary architectural character of the residence. The existing oval-shaped swimming pool was redesigned and transformed into a linear composition, strengthening the architectural coherence between the building and its surrounding landscape.

The terrace area, which was insufficient in terms of use, was expanded through a cantilever slab solution, increasing the overall living space. This intervention enabled the creation of a semi-open and shaded relaxation area at the lower level, utilizing the overhead terrace as a natural canopy and complemented by built-in bench seating elements. This spatial arrangement across different levels enhances the functional use of the garden while enriching the overall user experience.

In the selection of materials, the timeless aesthetic quality of natural stone was emphasized. Düzce Beige Marble used for the paving surfaces and Agra Brown natural stone selected for the seating areas were arranged in a checkerboard pattern, introducing visual movement across the surfaces. This approach breaks the monotony of the material palette while giving the space a distinctive and refined character.

At the pool level, functional solutions were developed to enhance outdoor living comfort. The exterior shower and outdoor kitchen module, designed in Iroko timber, combine the warm texture of natural material with contemporary lines, creating an integrated outdoor living environment that complements the overall architectural language of the landscape design.
